BodyLev was built by volunteers and YOU can help!

Easy Way:

  • Email bodylev@budser.com with a request or submit it here. Be sure to include the exercise name and either a description, pictures, or links to the exercise. If we like it we'll shoot it and upload it as soon as possible.

Advanced Way:

  1. Capture three to nine images of the exercise. These images should include the starting, middle, and finishing position of one repetition of the exercise and should demonstrate safe lifting technique.
  2. Email the photos to bodylev@budser.com along with the name of the exercise. Please note that any materials you provide may be shared under the creative commons license. Only send images that are your own and that you are willing to share.

Expert Way:

  1. Capture three to nine images of the exercise. These images should include the starting, middle, and finishing position of one repetition of the exercise and should demonstrate safe lifting technique.
  2. Use photo editing software to crop and resize the images to 300 x 200 pixels (portrait) or 200 x 300 pixels (landscape) and assemble them into an animated .gif file.
  3. Contact Aron at bodylev@budser.com to request an administrator account so that you can add pages to the site.
  4. Create a page using the "Exercise" or "Exercise (Landscape)" template. Use the most common name for the exercise as the page title and include the following tags: "exercise", ["push", "pull", "squat", or "core" if applicable], [equipment used], [your username, if you would like credit for creating the page]. Please note that any materials you provide may be shared under the creative commons license. Only post images that are your own and that you are willing to share. Note that your administrative rights may be removed at any time and for any reason.
  5. If you would like recognition for your exercises, add a unique username as a tag to the page (and any other pages you create). You can then create a user page with any information about yourself that you would like to post. Add your username as a tag to your user page to link it to your exercises!
